Eliminate Tennis Elbow - The End Of My Story...

I never thought that this day would ever come, the day I would eliminate tennis elbow!

It had taken me a few months but I managed it!

So what was the secret???

What I mentioned below did help but I found that the best way to eliminate tennis elbow was to get into a routine of simple techniques to help.

I found MyTennisElbowCure.com which gave me simple techniques to follow and in just over 2 weeks I noticed resuslt and in just under a month I was completely cured!

It took me a few months of finding a right techniquue and I find MyTennisElbowCure.com to fully cure me in just over 2 weeks (I'm not going to lie I was slightly annoyed).

I tested myself out by going through a light tennis session and I didn't feel any pain and everything seemed to be the same!

I had done it...I had found a way to eliminate tennis elbow!

Alternative methods for tennis elbow...

Sometimes when things take time it may feel like they aren't helping at all and that sometimes you may have to find some alternative cure for tennis elbow...

One method that I used (by accident) is the massaging method. Just by massaging the area in a circular motion you can get more blood flow and the muscle to relax. On occasion I done this accidentally but when I found out it was an alternative treatment I thought why not get a professional to do it?

For some getting a massage session may be a bit expensive but when I looked there were many alternative cures for tennis elbow

After going through a couple of massaging sessions I felt a lot better but I didn't make the same mistake as last time I felt this good.

I needed to find a method that would get rid of my tennis elbow completely!

Is surgery an option???

I'm not going to lie after 2 months of this stressful injury I was starting to get frustrated and was wondering if the best option was to get an operation done.

I mean nothing seemed to work for this stubborn injury so why not?

Well for one if you do go about having the surgery you can find yourself to have less power in your arm and you can also find the process to be risky and long (have to come back for check-ups).

Even though I still wanted to go about with surgery I knew it wasn't the best method to go for so I stuck it out and looked for some tennis elbow home cures.

Even though it had felt like I had done all of these I found that there are some alternative therapeutic methods...

Back To Square One...

After making the mistake of thinking my arm was healed and getting back into a tennis session I found myself back in square one.

Back to the pain, swelling and discomfort.

I was starting to get frustrated now, I needed to cure tennis elbow fast!

Something that I thought I would try is wearing a counter elbow brace, these are quite smart as they spread the pressure over the arm and decrease the range of movement allowing you to do daily activities without being in much pain.

I wore this for just over a week to then find out that it is rendered useless!  I learnt that to cure tennis elbow fast I need to let the injury heal without a brace. This is because a brace reduces the movement of the arm and causes scar tissue to build up causing even more stiffness which is just something that lengthens the healing process.

I learnt that I should only wear the brace if I had to do intensive movements which I really didn't have to.

This got me thinking what else was I doing wrong that was limiting me to cure tennis elbow fast!

Exercises For Tennis Elbow...

One thing I found to be all over the internet was to do tennis elbow exercises. The first thing that jumped into my head was that this was stupid, by doing exercises you are just going to make the pain and injury worse right? Wrong!

By doing daily tennis elbow exercises what you are doing is strengthening the injured muscle which does go on to give you a reduction in stiffness and an improvement to your range of mobility which helps your recovery process and it also helps prevent future injury.

I went through the exercises for 5-10 minutes a day everyday but I made sure that I took a rest when it started to hurt so I wouldn't make the injury worse.

I was amazed at the level of improvement after 4 weeks, so I went back to playing tennis....big mistake

Tennis Elbow Pain...

One of the worst things I had to deal with was the pain.

I could hardly do daily activities without getting in pain and even worse I couldn't hold a tennis racket without feeling pain too.

So what did I do for tennis elbow pain relief?

Well I found that there are many things that you can do to help you get back on the road to recovery like...

  • Ice treatment
  • Exercises
  • Rest
  • Compression (counter brace)
As good as these helped with the pain, they didn't help me get rid of tennis elbow, just mask it...

The Beginning Of My Story...

Tennis was my favorite sport, I wasn't great at it but I found it to be the best way to keep myself stress-free.

I mostly played on the weekend but sometimes I would play during the week too.

One day after a nice session I realised a slight pain in my elbow, I didn't think anything of it and considered it to be a side-effect from my tennis session.

After a few more sessions the pain started to become more intense until one day I found I couldn't even hold my racket properly without a sharp burst of pain in my elbow.

Like a normal injury I got home and iced it and gave it some rest and whilst doing this I looked up my symptoms...

 - Pain outside the elbow which can be aggravated with excess movement
 - Swelling and inflammation
 - Tenderness near the elbow

and that led me to my injury....tennis elbow
